Operation of right collarbone Dani Pedrosa running smoothly. However, the Repsol Honda rider was still in doubt for the next Dutch MotoGP.
Dani Pedrosa takes second operation to restore the fractured collarbone injury he got during the race in MotoGP France. Pedrosa missed the injury made in the last two series, Catalunya Moto Grand Prix and the UK Grandrix.
The second operation which took place at the USP Institut Universitari Dexeus, Thursday, June 16, 2011, was conducted by Dr. Xavier Mir and Dr. Cesar Garcia Madrid. Surgery performed to repair a small broken bone dislocations during rehabilitation.
"We believe the surgery went well because we were able to repair a small broken collarbone in a stable manner. Because of this, we believe in the next 48 hours could start rehab right shoulder," said Dr. Xavier Mir as quoted by Autosport.
Daani Pedrosa crashed in France MotoGP due to a dangerous maneuver that made Marco Simoncelli (Gresini Honda). Yet when it was Pedrosa has not fully recovered from injuries acquired left collarbone during an accident at the Japanese MotoGP last season.
Although the surgery went well, but the Honda can not ensure whether Pedrosa could appear in the Dutch MotoGP which will begin on 23 June.
