Jay Chou, Leehom Wang and Karen Mok will Compete in Golden Melody Awards

Mandarin singer, Jay Chou and Leehom Wang will compete for awards in the annual music event in Taiwan, the Golden Melody Awards. As quoted by the Associated Press, Friday, May 13, 2011, Jay Chou, Leehom Wang and Karen Mok won many nominations in the Golden Melody Awards event.

Jay Chou's song titled 'Superman Can not Fly' will compete with Wang's song titled 'Things You Do not Know' and the Karen Mok song 'Perfect Loneliness' for Song of The Year category. Their song will also compete with Eric Hung's song 'Flower of Love', Jody Chiang 'I Wanted to Marry Then', Freya Lim 'Heavy Injury', and Jonathan Lee's song 'Song for Myself'.

In addition, Jay Chou, Leehom Wang, Karen Mok, and Hung also will compete in the category of Album of the Year. Meanwhile, Jay Chou is a singer also as songwriter was also picked up nominations for Best Composer, Best Producer and Best Mandarin Male Singer.

Jay Chou has ever collided acting with actress Cameron Diaz in the film 'The Green Hornet' it debuted as a singer in 2000. Once released an album titled 'Jay', the name of Jay Chou became popular throughout Asia.

Golden Melody Awards event scheduled to be held in the Taipei, on 18 June 2011. This annual music event is considered prestigious and equivalent to the Grammy Awards.
