Rafael Nadal needed Five Sets to Win in First Round French Open

Tennis player Rafael Nadal needed five sets to defeat John Isner in the first round of French Open, Tuesday, May 24, 2011.

This is the first time Nadal had to play five sets after seven appearances in the tournament, known as Roland Garros. Rafael Nadal had left behind 1-2 of Isner before finally winning 6-4, 6-7 (2), 6-7 (2), 6-2 and 6-4.

"This game is very, very tight against Isner. He was against the service exceptional, and you are always depressed. In the tiebreak, I am not good play. Maybe I was nervous," Rafael Nadal said as quoted by associated press (AP).

The last time Nadal lost a set was when defeated Swedish player Robin Soderling in the fourth round of Roland Garros 2009. Earlier tennis player number one in world was never losing a set in the first or second round.

Andy Murray also stepped into the second round after defeating tennis player from French, Eric Prodon, 6-4, 6-1 and 6-3. Another player who passes is Jurgen Melzer of Austria, Florian Mayer (Germany), Alexandr Dolgopolov (Ukraine) and Sam Querrey, tennis player from United States.

In the daughter, the former tennis player world number one Maria Sharapova success beat Mirjana Lucic from Croatia 6-3 and 6-0. Furthermore, a beautiful tennis player it will face Caroline Garcia.
