Beauty singer Taylor Swift, has been named Artist Of The Year in American Music Award this year. Taylor Swift managed to beat singer Adele in the most prestigious category.
Taylor Swift 21 year-old singer looked shocked when receiving the award. Not to forget, she thanked her family, colleagues and fans.
"This is one of the craziest things that ever happened to me," Swift said as quoted from page Reuters on Monday, November 21, 2011.
Taylor Swift also won best female country singer and best album, by album entitled 'Speak Now'.
"I do not know what should I say, I do not think this will happen," said the country singer.

While the singer who recently underwent vocal cord surgery, Adele, also won three awards at event American Music Award. Her album '21 'won the award for the best album pop/rock. She also won in the category of Female Artist Pop/Rock and Adult Contemporary.
The band 'Maroon 5' won the category of best pop group or rock top hits flagship 'Moves Like Jagger'. While the best male singer for this category was won by Bruno Mars.
