Juan Manuel Marquez beat Ramos only One Round

Mexico boxer Juan Manuel Marquez takes only one round to beat Likar Ramos and retain world title WBA and WBO lightweight class at the Plaza de Toros, Cancun, Mexico, Sunday, July 17, 2011.

The first round match has been running for 1 minute and 47 seconds, a right hook Marquez could not get a landslide dammed Ramos and into the middle of the Colombian boxer body. Likar Ramos also fell down and could not continue the fight.

"I seem to do a great blow, and he (Likar Ramos) can not handle it. Sometimes a victory like this could happen in a boxing," Juan Manuel Marquez said after the fight, as quoted Boxing Scene.

The win makes Juan Manuel Marquez fight record to 53 wins, 39 knockouts, 5 loses and 1 draw. Furthermore, Mexican boxer will face Manny Pacquiao in the fight WBO Welter class on December 11, 2011.

"I'll prepare properly to fight Pacquiao and I want him to do the same. We both could give the fans an exciting spectacle. Floyd Mayweather Jr. is too survive, but with Manny Pacquiao, the fight will be exciting," said a defeated boxer Chris John in 2006.

The fight with Manny Pacquiao this coming December, will be the third for Juan Manuel Marquez. Earlier in 2004, Marquez played a draw against world champion Welter class WBC and WBO. Whereas in 2008, Juan Manuel Marquez lost to Pacquiao.
