Ducati rider Valentino Rossi recorded a bad time at the German MotoGP qualifying session, Saturday, July 16, 2011. Valentino Rossi was incised time of 1 minute 23.320 seconds and start placing it in position 16 of the 17 participants.

This result is clearly disappointing for Valentino Rossi who has won five times at the Sachsenring Circuit, Germany. In fact, Rossi is the only Ducati rider who uses the latest motorcycles, GP11.1, in qualifying session.

"We are very disappointed because it was trying very hard this weekend. I'm very slow and almost (start) the most recent," lamented Rossi in the MotoGP official website. "I tried this motor with a 1000cc engine and perform quite well. But with a motor 800cc engine it's so hard to ride," he added.

Throughout the last three races, Valentino Rossi said, he and his team performed poorly. And peaked at Sachsenring Circuit, Germany. For this result is likely Rossi will use a standard motor Ducati Desmosedici. This motor is still used his teammate Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, who earned the start in eighth position.

"We've changed about everything on this bike. But in the end did not evolve our performances," said Rossi.
